Intending to somehow include the notes from his translation of Le Roman du Lievre’s first paragraph into Appendix C, Riordan later decided to separate the two, the result being this book. This is a light hearted attempt at animating the artist’s translation notes. Cold Rabbit Pie includes both these notes and photographs of food. It is a comparisons of the assimilation of foreign languages to that of foreign foods, vocabulary to ingredients.

Cold Rabbit Pie was printed in an edition of 20 with a variety of different colored covers.
